Refund policy
Atelier Leurent values craftsmanship, transparency, and a considered purchasing experience. If for any reason your order is not as expected, the following policy applies.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right:

Notify us within 14 days of receiving your item by emailing us

Return the item within 14 days after notifying us
You may use a clear written statement by email indicating your decision to withdraw from the purchase.
Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a refund:

The item must be unworn and undamaged

The item must be returned in its original packaging

The item must show no signs of use

Any included certificates or documentation must be returned
We reserve the right to reduce the refund if the product shows signs of handling beyond what is necessary to assess its nature and characteristics.
Custom & Personalized Jewellery
Custom-made, bespoke, resized, engraved, or otherwise personalized pieces are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
These pieces are created specifically to your request and cannot be returned or refunded.
If you believe there is a quality issue, please contact us so we can assess the matter personally.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of approval.
If approved:

The purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days

Refunds are processed using the original payment method

Original shipping costs will be refunded if legally required
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
We recommend insured and trackable shipping, as Atelier Leurent cannot be held responsible for lost return shipments.
Exchanges
If you would prefer an exchange instead of a refund, please indicate this in your email.
Exchanges are subject to availability. Any price difference will be settled accordingly.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a defect that may fall under legal warranty, please contact us immediately.

Under Dutch law, products must meet reasonable expectations of quality and durability. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will offer repair, replacement, or an appropriate solution in accordance with statutory warranty rights.
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper care, or unauthorized repairs is not covered.
Return Address
Return instructions and the return address will be provided after you contact us via email.
Please do not send items back without prior confirmation.
